Norm Stamper was the chief of Seattle police during the time of the grunge legend's passing, and he is calling for a reinvestigation of the 27-year-old's death.

The former officer turned writer told documentary Soaked in Bleach:

"I would tell you right now if I were the Chief of Police, I would reopen this investigation."

Jordan, the mother of Hamilton's 13-month-old son, was also found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in another part of the family's home.

The young child was left unharmed but alone in the home until police arrived.

Hamilton, who played for five Major League Baseball teams between 1988 and 2001, was an analyst for MLB Network and active on Twitter talking baseball and sharing pictures of his children.

Things might be looking up for Suge Knight in the midst of his murder trial.

It's been reported that this morning, the judge in his trial substantially reduced the former rap mogul's bail from $25 million to $10 million.

Knight's lawyer is optimistic that his client can make bail as early as today.

The judge also dropped one of the two hit-and-run counts in Knight's fatal parking lot car accident in the wake of a suspicious testimony from Cle Sloan — whom Knight allegedly tried to hit with his truck.

We wonder if this drop in bail has less to do with the charge changes and more with the 49-year-old's court-disrupting health problems?

Not all the music exec's news was good. At the end of the preliminary hearing, judge Ronald Coen ruled that there WAS enough evidence for Knight to stand trial on murder and attempted murder charges.

According to reports, Hernandez was in shock as the verdict was read. He had plead not guilty for the June 2013 murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

The jury deliberated for an entire week after the 6-week trial.

This verdict carries a penalty of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

After sentencing, Hernandez will face yet another trial, this time for two shooting deaths in Boston.
