is downton abbey ending after season six

This could be the saddest news EVER for fans of the popular series!

Apparently season six of Downton Abbey is most likely going to be the last one ever.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

According to the rumors, the writer of the show, Julian Fellowes, is stepping away from Downton in order to work on The Gilded Age, a new project for NBC set in 19th century New York City.

Which sounds AWESOME! But, does that mean Downton has to end?!?!

Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski were the best part of the Sochi Winter Olympics.

There. We said it.

In case you missed it, Johnny and Tara covered the 2014 Sochi Winter Games from the broadcast booth during the figure skating events.

They did so well at covering the events they were later asked to cover the Kentucky Derby.

The execs over at NBC must've realized how popular and perfect Johnny and Tara are, because they've decided to make them a part of Super Bowl XLIX!

They'll be made part of the pregame lineup, broadcasting live before the big game.

Weir and Lipinski will be at the Tailgate Party interviewing celebrities who attend the game.

Yeah, they're absolutely perfect for that role.

Now we're even more excited for the Super Bowl! Weir and Lipinski forever!!

Watch Joan Rivers' First Appearance On Celebrity Apprentice Following Her Untimely Death

This really makes us miss seeing her on TV.

Joan Rivers has been gone for about four months now, but that doesn't mean she's been forgotten.

That's because the comedienne had her first guest appearance on this season of The Celebrity Apprentice on Monday night!

[ Video: Keshia Knight Pulliam Talks Her Bill Cosby-Related Elimination From Celebrity Apprentice! ]

Joan won Donald Trump's reality show back in 2009, so she filmed some episodes before her death as a guest judge; the second of which is scheduled to air in February.

While it was amazing to see her having fun in the boardroom, we can't help but feel that the NBC competition series edited too much of her personality away in favor of being 'nice' and took away the humor that could have been a real tribute.

The video clip is a tad spoilery, but we made sure to not give the whole episode away.

Ch-ch-check out the first of Joan's post-mortem TV appearances (above)!!!

[ Video: J.K. Simmons Wins Best Supporting Actor! ]

Sounds like it's gonna be a great show!

We wonder if he will emotionally scar any of the cast-members like he did to Miles Teller in Whiplash?

Nah, probably not, but who knows! We can't WAIT to see the actor in action!

Are YOU excited to watch J.K. and D'Angelo on SNL on January 31st at 11:30 p.m. on NBC?!

NBC's show Heroes was one of those rare TV shows that was really really super good. For a while at least…

Anyway, like all good things — it eventually had to end.

But that doesn't mean good things can't come back again!!

NBC is bringing the show back as a 13-episode miniseries called Heroes Reborn.

The show's original creator Tim Kring is on board, but there is a new face joining the show…

Zachary Levi from Chuck!

If you haven't seen it, Chuck is about Levi playing a man who is basically forced into becoming a secret agent. So it hopefully won't be much of a stretch for Levi to play a HERO!

That's all the info that's been released so far since everything else is under wraps.

We can't wait until Heroes comes back!!

What do U think of them casting Zachary Levi?? Let us know in the comments!

This sounds like a great idea!

NBC saw a big dip in ratings for this year's live musical, and it's making them have big plans for next time!

The network's Bob Greenblatt already announced that they had a deal for the Music Man, but now details are coming out that The Wizard Of Oz story may actually be their next choice!

[ Video: Brian Williams Applaud's A Six-Year-Old Boy's Amazing Peter Pan Live! Review! ]

Greenblatt made the announcement at the TCA press tour on Friday, saying that The Wiz was hot in 2013, but the network eventually nixed the idea for their dramatic straight-to-series order.

But now the idea is back on the table in the form of a musical!

Would you rather see The Wiz or Music Man next holiday season???

Looks like this bridge has definitely been burned!

As we reported last November, NBC cancelled a sitcom they were developing with Bill Cosby in the wake of accusations that he sexually assaulted various women.
