Understandably, the grieving process has been very difficult for the late star's mom, who admits to Dr. Oz that she found it difficult to "wake up in the morning" despite the support of her family:

"I felt guilty for even feeling like that but I really honestly would wish that I didn't have to wake up in the morning. I would never have taken my life but I really felt that way. Because when you wake up, you have to realize it's real and you relive it all over again."

Most Fast & Furious fans wish they could drift like the pros on the big screen.

But participating in illegal street races and high octane heists is *probably* best left to Vin Diesel and the gang.

Thankfully, we have a much safer alternative for gearheads to put their furious obsession to the test: a car-to-character guessing game!

You Won't BELIEVE Who Nearly Had Vin Diesel's Role In The Fast & The Furious! (And Other Movies That Almost Had Very Different Stars!)

It's hard to imagine anyone other than Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious.

But the street racer-turned-international secret agent (man, this franchise cray!) was almost played by someone very different — Justified star Timothy Olyphant!

Speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast on Wednesday, producer Neil H. Moritz said after finding Paul Walker there was only one piece of the puzzle needed to make the project a go:

"And then we had to look for Dom Toretto. The studio said, 'If you can get Timothy Olyphant to play that role we will greenlight the movie… The luckiest thing that ever happened to us is Tim Olyphant turned us down. He's a great actor. In fact, I'm curious to see what that movie would have been."

Wow. So are we! (We're thinking the studio was happy with his performance as a cop in the previous year's fast car flick Gone In Sixty Seconds!)

But of course, Neil then found Vin, who was perfect for the bad boy boss from the get:

"I went and met him at Kate Mantilini and he wasn't a star yet, but the great thing about Vin is he always believed he was a star. And I was going in there to think he's coming to me to want the role and I'm the one there now having to convince him to do the role! Lucky for both of us that happened."

Lucky for us too, eight movies later! But Furious wasn't the only classic that almost had a completely different cast!

These 'Freelance Journalist' Bros Asking Their City Council To Build A Statue Of Paul Walker Will Give You Hope — Even Though It Was All A Prank!

The city of San Clemente needs a hero to look up to in these dark and gnarly times, and two surfer bros have the perfect solution: erect a giant statue of Paul Walker in the middle of the coastal California town.

Last week, two unassuming bros petitioned the San Clemente City Council to construct a 12-foot-tall steel statue of the late actor, making him the official icon of the town.

Speaking to the council, the impassioned dudes said the Walker statue could be "a beacon of headlights that can guide us down the poldusty road" in an otherwise "bummer year."

The speeches from a guy named Chad Kroeger and his pal Bodhi are caked with plenty of references to the Fast & Furious franchise — and even nods to more obscure Walker titles like Meet The Deedles and Eight Below.

Though it all comes crumbling down when the council asks if the actor has any ties to the town of San Clemente. (He does not, but his cousin went to high school there!)

If these two earnest surfer bros fighting to erect a statue of their bro-y icon seems too good to be true — it's because it is.

The fact that the first speaker's name is the lead singer from Nickelback tipped off some viewers that this stunt is actually

Paul Walker's Daughter Claims Porsche Employees Laugh Over Car Crashes — And She Has PROOF!

Paul Walker's tragic death could have been prevented, and his daughter isn't going to rest until she proves it.

Meadow Walker's latest legal filing in her wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche accuses the car company of hiding key information by heavily redacting what they were legally forced to send to her legal team.

Apparently one of Meadow's lawyers was able to see through the blacked out sections on a more advanced computer. And what Meadow and the team saw sickened them.

In a series of emails, employees actually joked about the high number of crashes of the Carrera GT, the car in which Paul and his friend Roger Rodas died.

In an excerpt, one employee writes:
