Hey Pepsi, Here's What A Real Protest Looks Like

No one's forgotten about you yet, Pepsi.

As we're sure you know, last week the soda company caused quite a stir when they seemingly trivialized the Black Lives Matter and Women's March movements. Trying to profit off of our scary political climate, the tone-deaf ad featured none other than Kendall Jenner saving the day by handing a can of Pepsi to an armed police officer.

Oy vey.

In response, production company ThirtyRev created its own version of the commercial featuring real protesters at Standing Rock fighting to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline.

SFPD might be suing Pepsi! SFPD might be suing Pepsi!

This Pepsi drama will NOT die!

And now the police are involved!

Apparently the cops in the commercial wore uniforms mimicking the ones worn by the San Francisco Police Department. Behind-the-scenes images (above) were disseminated online depicting a similar logo as the SFPD's on the main cop's sleeve.

Now, sources at SFPD tell TMZ that they might take legal action!

They say that Pepsi never asked for permission to use the logo, and that they're currently discussing the matter with the City Attorney to see if any legal lines were crossed.

At least the soda giant has tons of money and shrewd legal eagles of its own. We're sure they'll be fine.

Here's How Kendall Jenner's Family Plays Into That Whole Pepsi Dumpster Fire

no title

This was probably the worst week ever for Kendall Jenner and her PR team AKA Kris Jenner.

After all the backlash from that extremely tone-deaf Pepsi commercial, it sounds like the 21-year-old supermodel is leaning on her family for support.

A source close to the KUWTK family tells People:

"Kendall is still abroad working. She has been in constant communication with her mom and sisters. Everyone is being very supportive and ready to give advice. Kendall is young and certainly not used to being involved in such controversy."

Life Imitates Terrible Soda Art! A Portland Man Hands The Mayor A Can Of Pepsi During Courtroom Conflict!

A Portland man tries to settle things with Pepsi.

Looks like Pepsi can't settle differences in the courtroom either.

An Oregon man named Carlos Enrique (above) handed Portland mayor Ted Wheeler a can of Pepsi during a city council meeting Wednesday, mimicking Kendall Jenner handing a can of the soft drink to a police officer during a protest in the original ad.

It…didn't go over well.

Enrique was in the midst of speaking about a city ordinance regarding tow boats when he began to go off topic, and Wheeler tried to get him back on track. That's when Enrique walked right up to Wheeler and handed him a can of Pepsi. He then proceeded to drink from his own can.

The mayor wasn't into it! He said:
