Falko the police dog served with the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit for over 11 years in New Jersey.
Sadly, only a few weeks after retiring, the German Shepherd was diagnosed with an aggressive lung cancer. He'd need to be put down.
His family must've been devastated; luckily, Falko and family had a lot of support.
The police pup took one last walk past an honor guard of other K-9s and cops he'd worked with throughout his career.
