After getting an update from his national security team, POTUS assured was no "specific" threat to the US.

UPDATE: 6:38 P.M. EST: French police confirm that the Stade de France was hit by two suicide attacks and one bombing.

UPDATE: 5:59 P.M. EST: President Francois Hollande has confirmed that France has temporarily closed its borders.

UPDATE: 5:55 P.M. EST: CNN reports that their Paris affiliate BFM is now reporting over 60 dead.

At least 35 people were killed in a shooting in central Paris Friday night.

Paris police confirmed to French news outlets that there were at least three attacks, with gunmen reportedly using AK-47 automatic weapons.

There have reportedly been over 100 people taken hostage at the Bataclan theater.

Reports also say there were a series of explosions at the Stade de France, France's national stadium — which is currently on lockdown.

President Francois Hollande was at the stadium watching the French soccer team play Germany, but left the arena to go to the Interior Ministry.

Police are outside the scenes at the other shootings, which include restaurants in a neighborhood that was packed with civilians, who are now reportedly evacuating the area.

Authorities suspect this may be a terrorist attack, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.

We will continue to update you on this developing story.

University Of Missouri's President Resigns After Football Team Strikes Over Disgusting Racial Incidents

This is a very strong message.

The University of Missouri's football team suspended all team activities — right in the middle of their season — and more than 30 players walked out on the team in an effort to boycott President Tim Wolfe.

Wolfe, and the University administration more broadly, have come under fire for slow reactions to several alleged acts of racism on campus, with concerned students feeling as though the president has little concern for the black students on campus.

Things came to a head last week, when graduate student Jonathan Butler started a hunger strike — that has now gone on for nearly seven full days — that Butler says will not stop until either he dies, or Wolfe is removed from his position.

Finally, after a week of tension on campus, news broke Monday morning that Wolfe finally resigned from his position as the president of the entire University of Missouri system!

This, according to a tweet from Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery:

George W. Bush Had A VERY Telling Reaction When Asked About Kanye West Running For President In 2020!

This is awkward!

George W. Bush was leaving a dinner in Washington, D.C. on Thursday night when a reporter stopped him and asked him what he thought of Kanye West's announced upcoming presidential campaign for the 2020 election.

The former president, of course, was called out by Yeezy during a 2005 telethon for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana and Mississippi, when the rapper famously went off script and said "George Bush doesn't care about black people" on live television.
