UPDATE: 9/14 4:58 P.M. EST — Following Delaney Robinson's self-sworn warrant this morning, Tar Heels linebacker/alleged rapist Allen Artis turned himself in and is expected back in court later today after posting a $5,000 secured bond.
Now that Stanford Rapist Brock Turner is officially off the hook for those "20 minutes of action," we'd hoped the legal system would be ready for a sea change.
But the embarrassing injustice of the high profile sexual assault case has thus far done nothing to impact how the system treats victims.
That's especially unfortunate for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill sophomore Delaney Robinson.

According to reports, the 19-year-old claims she was raped by Junior linebacker Allen Artis on Valentine's Day earlier this year following a night of underage drinking that led to a blackout.
Unfortunately, despite immediately going to the hospital for a rape kit — which confirmed blunt force trauma to her genitals and neck — campus police simply laughed when she reported the crime.
