Bill Cosby's legal team is once again trying to delay the comedian's criminal court proceedings.
If you feel like you've read this news before, that's because you basically have.
As we told you last week, a mid-level court made a decision that allowed the Andrea Constand case to go forward — and now, Cosby's attorneys have once again filed an emergency stay in response to that decision.
So basically any decision the court makes, Cosby's team appeals — then appeals again.

The actor's attorneys had been originally fighting the February ruling that decided against throwing out the case, since the previous District Attorney had apparently promised the star that he wouldn't be prosecuted over the alleged assault against the former Temple University employee.
The most recent filing states:
"If this court does not stay those proceedings, Mr. Cosby's fundamental due process right not to be prosecuted and not to be subject to the criminal proceedings will be irreparably lost. Mr. Cosby therefore files this application on an emergency basis."
So as you can see, this whole situation is just a lot of back and forth. Sigh.
No word yet from current Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele.
