While many fans were happy to see S.S. win the award, some people felt Diane Warren should have won for her Til' It Happens To You collaboration with Lady GaGa. The famed song writer has been nominated an INSANE amount of times for this category before, after all.

This seems like a big mistake on their part.

Lana Del Rey may have one of the most emotionally charged voices in the industry, but that wasn't enough to score her the theme song for the newest James Bond film Spectre.

As you're probably aware, Sam Smith was the lucky Brit selected to follow in Adele's footsteps off Skyfall… except that his Writing's on the Wall was not nearly as successful as his predecessor's Oscar-winning ballad.

Unfortunately for the Daniel Craig vehicle, they may have missed a big opportunity for a hit because, as it turns out, Lana says she would have jumped at the chance to helm the action flick, saying:

Could she be adding another Oscar to her trophy case?!

It's no secret that Adele is one of the most successful musicians in the world, but it looks like the British songstress is about to try her hand at acting.

As we previously reported, Cannes Jury Prize-winning director Xavier Dolan made Adele feel so comfortable on the set of Hello that she said she wanted to pursue acting… and now she has her chance.

Video: Adele's First Live TV Performance Since 2013!

It was reported on Wednesday that the 27-year-old singer is in final talks to appear in Xavier's upcoming film The Death and Life of John F. Donovan!

Now she wouldn't be writing any original music for the movie, so we're not going to get a followup to Skyfall, but it would be simply AH-Mazing to see her onscreen opposite Jessica Chastain, Kit Harrington, Susan Sarandon, and Kathy Bates!

Would U be interested in another Adele and Xavier collaboration??

Most people in the United States were more concerned with getting their Halloween on this weekend instead of going to see movies, which definitely reflected in the domestic box office!

Spectre also broke opening-day U.K. box office records after taking $9.7 million by Tuesday. Records were also set in Norway, the Netherlands, Finland, and Denmark.

This big opening allowed Bond to take the top spot from another British hero — Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which earned over $37 million its opening week!

The film, which features Daniel Craig portraying the action hero for the fourth time, has gotten a generally positive response critically and is expected to be a big hit here in the States as well!

We'll see if Spectre can surpass the previous film Skyfall, which was the highest grossing 007 film in the franchise's history — taking in $1.1 billion worldwide!

Go see what all the hype is about when Spectre hits U.S. theaters November 6!
