Is Transformers 4 going to be a little indie movie? Are the 'bots going mumble core?
Will the franchise be reinvented as a sensitive story of a love affair between man and machine? Nah!
It's still a Michael Bay movie! We guarantee explosions galore! But the film will be a lot smaller than the last three, as Michael explains:

Marky-Mark realizes an important role when he sees one!
Mark Wahlberg is set to star in Transformers 4, and even though he's a film veteran of dozens of films, he knows this blockbuster could be the most vital!
Here's what he said:
"I'm really excited about Transformers. Michael Bay and I just did Pain and Gain, and we had such a good time making it. He came to me and said, 'I'm kind of doing a whole different reboot on Transformers. Are you interested?' I said, 'Yeah, I'll do it!' I loved the idea, and I think we can make something really cool and kick-ass. This is not something where it's already established and I'm just in there to get a paycheck. I'm thinking this is the most important role of my career and I can do something really special. It's the only time my kids have ever been interested in a movie I'm making."
We can understand why!
We respect movies like The Fighter, but if we have to choose between crack addict boxing fighters and Transformers…
We'll go with the robots in the sky!!!

Michael Bay recently beat back internet message boards who predicted Mark Wahlberg would star in Transformers 4!
He called shenanigans on those rumors, however, swearing neither Marky Mark nor his Funky Bunch were affiliated with the upcoming fourth-equel!
Today, however, The Pearl Harbor director sings a different tune… And it's called Good Vibrations!
In a press release, Michael confirmed Mark play the lead (human) in his next robo-blockbuster

We're not sure that Mark Wahlberg wants Shia LaBeouf's
sloppy seconds dirty thirds floppy fourths, but just in case he does, Michael Bay is considering him for a major role in Transformers 4!
The inneresting part of this story is that he didn't come up with the idea on his own — the internet did!
There was a rumor floating around the world wide web in October that Wahlberg — who is starring in Bay's upcoming flick Pain and Gain — was in talks to join the Optimus Prime and the rest of the robots in disguise for their fourth adventure on the big screen.
Bay, however, took to his blog to write:
"The Mark Wahlberg T4 rumor is just a rumor.
Mark and I are talking about another film project."
But all the "chatter" got him thinking about the possibility and he gave another update on Halloween that read:

Michael Bay doesn't care if you hate expensive movies with CGI robots, slow-mo action sequences, and Shia LaBeouf beautiful beautiful face!
Well, he probably does care… but he intends to keep making them anyway!
The director of the three Transformers installments spoke out about his reasons for continuing with the series and where he hopes it might conclude.

As you all may have heard, Transformers 4 is a go for Paramount and Michael Bay has signed on to direct.
Although it seems like Transformers may be his Avatar and he'll just keep directing them forever, Bay has decided that the fourth installment will be his last. Not the last in the series though. We imagine these money makers will just keep
