Serena Williams

Serena Williams has been welcomed back from her romantic honeymoon with… a speeding ticket!

According to a citation issued by the Florida Highway Patrol and obtained by The Blast, the tennis star was pulled over on Saturday morning after she was caught going 86 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

The new momma was hit with a ticket for $281, which we imagine won't be too difficult to dish out for Miz Williams.

We're just glad little bb Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. wasn't in the car as Serena was listed as the only occupant of the 2016 Mini Cooper.

Considering her sister Venus Williams was just involved in a fatal car accident, we're just hoping everyone is more careful behind the wheel! Pretty please?

It seemed Venus Williams had gone from at fault to in the clear after video of her fatal car accident had shown she had not illegally entered the intersection.

But the estate of the late Jerome Barson is not giving up its wrongful death lawsuit just yet.

According to TMZ, lawyers have now filed a request for all of the tennis star's phone records to double check she wasn't on her cell just before or during the accident.

They have also asked for copies of any prescriptions for drugs Venus may have taken in the 72 hours before.

Police have already said Venus wasn't distracted by her phone and that drugs and alcohol played no part in the accident. Are the attorneys just grasping at straws?
