Seth Meyers Rips On Trump For Lying About Healthcare, Taxes, & What People Think About His NFL Controversy!

Filed under: TV NewsPolitikDonald TrumpNFLLate Night TVSeth Meyers

Donald Trump is really proud of his accomplishments lately!

Of course, in the eyes of POTUS, an accomplishment is perpetuating a racial controversy with a national sports league while ignoring the humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico.

That's just one of the many recent presidential failures Seth Meyers reported in the latest "A Closer Look" segment. On Thursday's Late Night, the host spoke on Trump's growing struggle for something positive to talk about that came from his first months in office.

After mentioning the president was proud that his battle against the NFL was "catching on" amid the growing National Anthem protest, Meyers pointed out that Trump has been spinning all his missteps into positives with the help of (what else?) lies!

As an example, the late night show played a clip of Trump falsely claiming that the GOP's healthcare replacement bill fell through because a mysterious senator was in the hospital and couldn't vote — leaving reporters baffled when he wouldn't give them a name!

Spicey's out, the Mooch is in!

Donald Trump's administration has blessed us with an array of colorful characters, and his latest addition is no exception.

Following the dismissal of substitute PE teacher press secretary Sean Spicer, we met White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci — who, according to Seth Meyers, is "the human embodiment of a double-parked BMW."

On Monday's Late Night, the host dissected Trump's communications staff shake-up and already had plenty of material for which to roast the "experienced schmoozer."

Seth also mocked Jared Kushner's recent comments to the press in which he denied any collusion with Russia and ripped on Trump for trying to seem v cool in front of White House interns.

Seth Meyers Rips On Senate's 'Cartoonishly Evil' Healthcare Bill & Gives Props To Barack Obama's 'Mean' Trump Troll! Watch!

The GOP better hurry up with that healthcare replacement, because Donald Trump's mental faculties could really use a tune up!

On Monday, Seth Meyers took "A Closer Look" at the Senate GOP's health care bill, which only threatens to leave 22 million uninsured as opposed to the original draft's 24 million. Progress?

After taking a few minutes to roast the President's absurd softball interview with Fox News about his "not very stupid" decision to threaten James Comey with "tapes," the Late Night host went on to call the new healthcare proposal "comically villainous."

Seth also applauded Barack Obama's epic Trump troll, which got the President to reveal his true thoughts on the bill. It was reported that POTUS privately called the House version "mean," a word his aides tried to deny he ever said in reference to the proposal.

But once Trump heard Obama call the bill "mean" in a recent public statement, he couldn't help but take credit for the word — throwing his GOP congressionals under the bus in the process! Sad!

Seth Meyers Takes A Closer Look At Trump & The GOP's Ridiculous Response To The Incriminating Comey Memo!

It's time to face a disappointing truth — we may never get Donald Trump to admit any wrongdoing.

He may be impeached, he may even be prosecuted some day, but there's no way he will EVER say it wasn't all a conspiracy against him.

Just look at how he and his team are reacting to the smoking gun that is the detailed memos fired FBI director James Comey was keeping of their interactions, showing that Trump asked him to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn!

Of course, the reaction to the news by other Republicans is even more telling. Just let Seth Meyers break it all down for you!

Paul Ryan Emailed Seth Meyers To Complain About His Scathing Health Care Report — So, The Late Night Host Clapped Back With More Hard Facts!

no title

Seth Meyers' nightly roasts of Donald Trump's administration might not get a response from POTUS himself, but not everyone in that political asshat parade can stay silent after being constantly ripped apart on late night television.

Namely, Paul Ryan, who was apparently so butthurt over Meyers' take on the GOP's Health Care reform bill, he sent the Late Night host an email trying to defend himself!

During last Thursday's "A Closer Look," Meyers eviscerated the House Speaker for his apparent hypocrisy over the health care debate, showing clips of Ryan condemning Democrats for rushing Obamacare in 2010.

According to Meyers, Ryan contradicted his own fight against congressional injustice by using the same tactics to push the American Health Care Act through the House last week.

Well, apparently, the doe-eyed politician didn't like that very much, and sent the comedian an email to complain about Thursday's segment — which Seth picked apart point-by-point during Monday's taping.

Despite disagreeing with every charge made in the email, Meyers was pleased to provoke a response out of one of Trump's closest lackeys, and even invited the fitness enthusiast to appear on a future episode of Late Night!

Ha! That'll be the day! Ch-ch-check out the clip (below).

Seth Meyers Gives The American Health Care Act 'A Closer Look' & Diagnoses Paul Ryan With Hypocritical Douchebag Syndrome!

Filed under: TV NewsDonald TrumpHealthLate Night TVSeth Meyers

Donald Trump is used to getting slammed on late night television.

But unfortunately for POTUS, Seth Meyers' beatdowns will no longer be covered under the American Health Care Act.

The Late Night host grilled House Republicans for their giddy reaction to narrowly passing the Obamacare replacement bill on Thursday, which literally takes from the poor and gives to the rich.

While the reverse-Robin Hood effort still must pass in the Senate before it can become law, Trump and his lackeys Mike Pence and Paul Ryan were already celebrating the victory in a post-vote press conference, to which Seth observed:

"I guess they're just happy they passed something other than a kidney stone… No longer covered, by the way."

Meyers especially went on to blast House Speaker Ryan for rushing the bill through without proper vetting, years after he passionately accused Dems of doing the very same thing with Obamacare.

Seth Meyers Rips Donald Trump For His Recent Civil War Comments!

We didn't think it was possible, but Donald Trump's remarks have been getting more idiotic by the day.

During Monday's Late Night, Seth Meyers gave a breakdown of the President's domineering, yet flimsy grip on being Commander-In-Chief — which, apparently, he knows just as little about as he does basic American history.

In the latest "A Closer Look," Meyers roasted Trump for the comments he made last week that being president is a lot harder than he thought it would be. Yes, he thought running the country would be easier than hosting Celebrity Apprentice.

Even though he's not on a reality show anymore, Trump still has a penchant for dramatic exits — like when he snapped at CBS reporter John Dickerson before sitting back down at his desk — which is, as Seth noted, not as quite dramatic as storming out of a boardroom. Sad!
