A Halloween party in San Antonio, Texas turned into a real life nightmare when a man dressed as Freddy Krueger opened fire on the crowd and shot five people.
According to local reports, a group of males showed up to the party at around 5 a.m. Sunday morning and started causing trouble.
An altercation escalated after other guests tried to remove the rowdy group from the party, causing one man dressed as the iconic horror villain from A Nightmare on Elm Street to pull a gun from his costume and begin shooting.
The suspect fled after shooting one female and four male party guests.
Police say three of the male victims were taken to University Hospital for treatment, while the fourth was treated at a medical center downtown.
The female victim reportedly tried to drive herself to the hospital, but crashed her car along the way. Thankfully she eventually made it to a local hospital for treatment.
