Taryn Manning is getting into the holiday spirit…sort of!

Last we heard from Taryn, she performed a special, exclusive acoustic set for our Perezcious readers!

Now, she's doing her actor thing again, and we've just learned that she's landed the lead role in the upcoming indie flick A White Trash Christmas!

The story is being described as "a take on the Christmas Carol story that centers on the tribulations of of a trashy, whiskey-soaked, unemployed hairdresser and mother (Manning) who is visited by three ghosts who try to show her a path to a brighter future."

We'll be sure to check this one out when it gets released!
