Judge Aaron Persky has gotten major heat since he sentenced former Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner to just six months in jail for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman behind a dumpster back in January 2015.

The judge's ridiculously light prison sentence sparked outrage, with opposers launching a change.org petition to remove him from the bench — which now has over 500,000 signatures.

But despite those efforts, Persky still managed to quietly slither his way into a new judicial term on Tuesday!

California voters would have voted for the Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge's re-election on Tuesday, but he was running unopposed.

Even though Persky was able to sneak his way to a new term, experts say his controversial ruling will make it unlikely that he will complete his six-year term.

Santa Clara (Calif.) County Judge Aaron Persky handed out an unusually light six-month sentence to the former Stanford University swimmer, despite sentencing recommendations stating the 20-year-old should face up to 14 years in prison.

The judge cited Turner's 'clean' criminal record, and wrote that a harsh punishment would leave a 'severe impact' on him, which, come on — he's obviously already left a very severe impact on his victim, so how is that overly severe?!

Now, an online petition on Change.org has already garnered nearly 300,000 signatures in support of having Persky recalled!

According to the petition's mission statement, the arbiter failed to do his job and bring adequate justice to this case:
