Jeff Daniels Goes Off On Hillary Clinton & Donald Trump — As His The Newsroom Character!

Is this becoming a thing now?

As you may have seen, Allison Janney stopped by the White House two weeks ago to brief the press as her character from The West Wing.

Well, it seems as though people really appreciated her pop culture spin on real world politics, because Jeff Daniels just did the very same thing!

The Emmy-winning actor stopped by Bloomberg Politics' With All Due Respect on Wednesday to answer some questions about the 2016 election for hosts Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

However, things took a very Aaron Sorkin-esque twist when Jeff started ripping into Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton as his character from The Newsroom!

We knew Will McAvoy was a moderate Republican… but this is just intense!
