Another News Shakeup: George Stephanopoulos Returns To This Week As Christiane Amanpour Returns To CNN

See if you can follow us.

George Stephanopoulos was once the anchor of This Week on ABC, but left the job to take the role of co-anchor on Good Morning America. The void was later filled by Christiane Amanpour last year, who left her post as CNN's chief international correspondent after 27 years.

The tables are now turning again as Christiane has decided to return to CNN, this time to host a new weekday show for CNN International. Rather than bring some newbie into the all too important role, George will be returning to This Week as of next year, to anchor the ABC news show. No worries though; there won’t be a vacancy at the Good Morning table. George will pull double duty, balancing hosting both programs.

Phew! That was a lot to get through!

It seems the change in lineup hasn’t taken a toll on the competing networks. In fact, both sides seem pretty happy with the deal, especially CNN. The network’s Worldwide President Jim Walton said in an e-mail message to CNN staff:

Zachary Quinto Coming Out Inspires The Same From ABC News Anchor!

Well done, Dan Kloeffler! We support you!

Dan, who is an ABC News anchor, was inspired by Zachary Quinto's nonchalant reveal and decided to do so himself as well!

Because WNN is a show where you can offer some personality, I had a little fun with the story saying that I would drop my rule against dating actors.

I’ve never shared that I’m gay on-air, even though I’ve been out to my family, friends and co-workers for years. In fact, an old boyfriend – now best friend – has always given me a hard time about not doing so. But for the same reason that Zach decided to come out, I too, no longer wanted to hide this part of my life.

We LOVE this trend! It'd be amazing if more public figures came out in this manner — and came out at all!

It sets such a positive example for the struggling LGBT youth!

Congrats again!

Chaz Bono: People Without Gender Dysphoria Aren't Going To Catch It From Watching Me Dance.

Filed under: Gay Gay GayCherChaz BonoReality TV

ABC News interviews Chaz Bono amidst all the critics bashing his presence on Dancing With The Stars.

As he explains his focus has just been on the dancing, he genuinely fails to see what the big deal is about his gender.

…because, really, what IS the big deal?

Chaz insists he's just in it for the dancing, no political agenda, and that people who don't watch the show because of him, well, he thinks that's just crazy.

And we completely agree.

We also concur with his mother, Cher, when she says the vast majority will love him. A-MEN, sistah! A-MEN!

Watch the full interview above if you haven't already. His reactions to the questions are so sincere!

Medicine Cabinet Is The WORST Place To Store Medicine

For many of us, it may be time to empty out our medicine cabinets and put our medications somewhere cooler!

Bathrooms are filled with moisture and heat, which led pharmacists to name medicine cabinets the WORST place to store medicine.

Medicine should not only be stored at room temperature (between 68 and 77 degrees), but kept away from the moisture fogging up your mirror after a hot shower.

Not only may drugs lose their effectiveness, but could even become HARMFUL if the chemistry changes.

Selig Corman, director of Professional Affairs at the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York, says:

"An egg kept at an extreme temperature of heat becomes cooked and that could happen with tablets, with certain gelatin capsules, and that could alter the chemistry of the product. Something as simple as aspirin … when aspirin reacts with moisture it becomes a different chemical … something that is sold as a corn remover. You wouldn't want to ingest a corn remover."

Yuck! Maybe it's time we stop calling the bathroom cabinet a "medicine cabinet"!

Check out the video above for more details about the dangers of storing medication in places with too high (or low) of a temperature!
