We're completely gutted!

Despite MTV's plans to have our most beloved Snooki Snickers inside the Times Square ball as it drops on New Year's Eve during the celebrations, they have been horribly foiled by city officials!

A source explains:

"The Snooki ball drop isn't going to happen in Times Square. At midnight, the crowd and the media will be watching Mayor Bloomberg, Dick Clark and the official ball drop, not a cast member of the 'Jersey Shore.' No way would they allow this to take place. MTV rents a position in the Square that night like every other media outlet. You can't get access to the Square without an official credential. You have to play by the official rules or you get kicked out, which is exactly what has happened to MTV and Snooki."

Rude! How could they do this to our Snickers - and the REST OF THE COUNTRY?!

LOLz. Think of something fast, MTV!

Sources have revealed that Snooki's New Year's Eve ball will be dropped in the next best place - the place where it all began for our beloved guidette - Seaside Heights, New Jersey!

Not a bad substitution, we say!

Neil Patrick Harris, what the eff are you THINKING??

We were actually looking forward to this!

The usually very logical actor is directing the latest production of Rent this summer at the Hollywood Bowl, and has ruined EVERYTHING already by casting the atrocious WhatsHerFace in the role of Mimi!

And he thinks she does the role justice! BARF.

He said:

"She came in for a work session, and I must say, Vanessa really impressed. She looks amazing, has great vocal chops and seems really committed to honoring the somewhat iconic role of Mimi. I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August."

Ugh. We can't even THINK about that shiteous little hack attempting to warble through Out Tonight or Goodbye Love without wanting to vomit!

Under normal circumstances we would never dream to be this bold, but this is the one time we think they should take creative license in the show and let her character croak at the end!

You don't fool us for a second, NPH! We KNOW this is just some backwards way to get Zefron into your life!

Our mood is so officially soured. Boo!
