Four score and a few hours ago, someone sprayed the Lincoln Memorial with green paint!
A visitor discovered the vandalism early Friday morning. The monument has been closed ever since for cleaning.
What a jerk! People come from all over the world to pay their respects to Abraham Lincoln! You mess with him, you mess with America!
And also Daniel Day-Lewis, who isn't American but is probably feeling it deeply. He REALLY gets into character.
We hope there's no permanent damage! We hold these truths to be self evident, that vandals suck!

What the feezy?!?
On the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host introduced a new segment called Do You Know, and after running through icons that everyone should recognize, such as Santa Claus and Abraham Lincoln — he expresses that kids know nothing about Elvis Presley!!
But what made this clip even more inneresting was that Jimmy actually went out in Hollywood and asked kids if they knew who the King of Rock and Roll is, but unfortunately, he FAILED miserably.
Taking into account that Elvis died in 1977, we highly doubt that children could identify the singer, but we bet if Kimmel would've asked the kiddies who Justin Bieber is, they would be all over that trivia like white on rice. LOLz
Wanna see Jimmy stump children?!? Hit that play button (above)!

Watching this on election day is nothing short of inspiring.
Slavery was officially abolished 147 years ago by the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution, yet we are STILL fighting for equality to this day!
The first international trailer for Steven Spielberg's Lincoln reminds us of that more than anything, but it also reminds us that a little courage goes a long way.
Even in the face of dangerous opposition, Abraham Lincoln stood up for what he believed in by delivering an Emancipation Proclamation that forever changed the course of American history.
Today we have a choice between two men who will have the same opportunity. While one has said he will continue to push for the civil rights that every American citizen deserves, another openly admits he will not.
The choice is as clear as it is yours. Make it count.

Not since the days of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure have we seen such a compelling portrayal of our 16th President!

Lincoln will play in theaters everywhere
four-score and seven years from now in November!
Except for Ford's Theater, probably. That would just be wrong!
