It looks like Amanda might have an extra chapter to add to her book, as the Italian high court has ordered a retrial on her case.
As a reminder, Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito have been accused of murdering Meredith Kercher while studying abroad in Italy and have already served 4 years in prison.
The two were eventually acquitted and released in 2011 and it looked like the nightmare was finally over. But now the case has been reopened and it’s not exactly clear why.
Amanda was upset to hear the news from her home in Seattle, and released the following statement, saying:

Nancy Kerrigan’s brother is off the hook.
She talked with reporters outside of the court where her brother Mark was being acquitted of manslaughter of their 70-year-old dad, saying that Mark had nothing to do with it and that their father never would have wanted him to be prosecuted.
Mark had been charged with grabbing his father around the neck during an argument, causing cartilage to fracture and his heart to fail.
But the jury decided that Mark was not involved in the death.
This story is messy and ugly. Glad it's over.

Music promoter Aubrey Berry, who was accused of killiing rapper Dolla in May 2009, has been acquitted.
Dolla, also known as Roderick Anthony Burton II, was shot four times outside of Beverly Center mall in Los Angeles while waiting at the valet.
Berry was arrested the same day at Los Angeles airport LAX where authorities said they believed he was attempting to flee. He had "raised his hands and told them he had a 9 millimeter handgun in his waistband."
He pleaded not guilty and remained in custody on $5 million bail.
His trial ended Friday when the jury returned a not guilty verdict on all charges.
Sad.
