According to Discovery Communications' CFO Brad Singer, the network should be "EBITDA positive" in 2011 "because of ad acceptance and good performance."
For those of U out there who want to impress your friends with your complicated acronym knowledge, EBITDA stands for "earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization."
Previously, Discovery wasn't expecting to earn profits until 2012 or 2013. Guess they're feeling pretty good after that strong debut.
Do U think Oprah's new network will make some serious $$$ in 2011?
