Poor thing! She just can't seem to catch a break, can she?
Star Magazine is reporting that although Shania Twain is happy with her new husband, Frederic Thiebaud, the pair are privately struggling to conceive, and although they've tried acupuncture, meditation, vitamins, and fertility drugs, nothing seems to be working!
A source explains:
“She knows conceiving can be difficult for a woman her age. She really hoped she wouldn’t have to face infertility. It’s incredibly frustrating; she’s cried over it more than once. Frederic is trying to get his new wife to consider different options, like surrogacy or adoption. He asked her if she would consider using a surrogate, and she’s open to the idea. He’s also been calling around to adoption agencies, figuring out how they should proceed if they decide that’s what they definitely want to do. She’s really hoping for a daughter, and she’s even been writing songs about it. But no matter what, she’s just excited about having more children around. She loves being a mom.”
We can't imagine how frustrating and painful this process may be for them, but hopefully she'll take her husband's advice and look into other options!
