Print isn't dead, at least for now.
After a craptastic year of ad sales, magazines are finally seeing an increase in ad sales, especially for the oh so important September issue.
Vogue is boasting they've sold 532 pages of ads for the month of September, which is up 24.1% or 103 pages from 2009's issue.
InStyle, who had a decent 2009, says their September issue ad sales are up 16% for an additional 56 pages making their grand total of adverts 403.
While Vogue may have the more adds, InStyle is still winning in beating Anna Wintour and her magazine for yearly ad sales. The mag is up 21% from last year with a total of 1,791 pages sold.
Harper's Bazaar is also seeing more ads in their publication with 31.8% more pages in their September issue and up 13% for the year.
The only magazine not enjoying as much success is Elle. For the month of September they only added an additional 57.2 more pages and up a measly 10% for the year.
Regardless of which glossy you'll be buying, your arms are definitely in for a workout!
