Everyone should be happy about Colorado's groundbreaking recreational marijuana win, because it makes logical sense.

Governor Hickenlooper, who has to have made up that last name after a bet, would like to remind everyone that it's going to be a long process and blah blah blah don't be so excited. Who want's to put a stop to people being excited about politics??

Ridic!

Teach Your Kids How To…Pole Dance?!?!

Filed under: TeensHealthIcky Icky Diaper PooEducational

Wow, we've heard of teaching your kids how to drive, teaching your kids how to ride a bicycle, but teaching your kids how to pole dance???

That is most definitely a new one.

But one teacher of the fine art of pole dancing thinks that it is a great way to burn carbs, and get your sweat going on.

And while we agree that it is most certainly a great cardio workout - we think there are definitely some sexual connotations associated with such a discipline.

Ch-ch-check the video out (above) and decide what you think for yourself!!!!

Asthma Drug Might Stunt Growth

This isn't good news at all.

Kids with asthma might need to seek out a different way to control it other than budesonide, which is marketed under several brand names, including Rhinocort and Pulmicort.

That is, kids with asthma that can handle finding something else — the drug is extremely great at handling severe asthma, so researchers don't recommend taking kids off the drug if they need it.

Asthma affects an estimated 6 million U.S. children and millions more adults.

The problem is with growth. Kids tend to be at least half an inch shorter permanently if they're using budesonide. If you ask us, that's still worth it to get asthma under control!

Still, you should talk over options with your doctors!

Bill Nye Calmly Explains That Creationism Might Not Be Appropriate For Kids

Bill Nye is all about science, and we love that.

He's been teaching our kids, our teens, and our adults for a long time now — point being, he's someone we trust.

He might lose some trust, however, from people who disagree with his assertion that teaching creationism might not be appropriate for kids.

Child Stars Of Modern Family Want A Raise Too!

Filed under: TV NewsBusiness BlitzSofia Vergara

The adult cast of Modern Family got the pay raise they wanted after salary negotiations with 20th Century Fox Television ended last Friday, but now the youngsters want their fair share as well!

13-year-old's Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould will be demanding a raise alongside their 14-year-old co-star, Ariel Winter.

They won't get the big bucks that Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell and company negotiated ($175,000 per episode), but they should be getting a significant raise since they share equal screen time.

21-year-old Sarah Hyland is already making more than her younger co-stars and will also be getting a raise while 5-year-old Aubrey Anderson-Emmons will continue to earn the least of the group.

Whatever deal these kids end up getting, we hope it's good. The show wouldn't be what it is without them, so they totally deserve the money!
