Is she trying to tell the Academy something???

Michelle Williams went for the gold this weekend at the AFI Fest premiere of her new movie My Week With Marilyn.

The 31 year old donned a strapless Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress and Jimmy Choo sandals with gold bedazzled heels.

This a very cute and sweet look for Michelle. Just because she plays Marilyn Monroe on the big screen doesn't mean she has to BE Marilyn on the red carpet. That's not her style.

However, she could have used some of Marilyn's jewels to bring this look together.

Kirsten Dunst made a fashionable appearance at the AFI Fest's Young Hollywood panel in Hollywood on Friday night.

The Melancholia star walked the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theater looking fabulous in a Derek Lam S/S 2012 leather dress and Chanel mesh booties.

Kiki wears this dress SO much better than the model. It fits her just right and she looks incredibly comfortable.

We cannot WAIT to see Leo as a young J. Edgar Hoover!

Even though Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar opens on November 9th, we've just learned that the film will premiere on Nov 3 at the American Film Institute's 25th annual AFI Fest!

Not only that, but Clint's biopic will actually open the festival, which runs from Nov 3 - 10 at Hollywood venues including Grauman's Chinese Theatre, the Egyptian Theatre, and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Here's what AFI President/CEO Bob Gazzale had to say about the J. Edgar director:

"Clint Eastwood is an American icon – one whose work as a director, actor, producer and composer not only stands the test of time, but also continues to add new, rich chapters with each passing year."

Such nice, true words! We're VERY excited for this film, and we have a feeling it'll be a big presence at the upcoming Academy Awards show!

Those tight deadlines on Project Runway came back to haunt Mondo Guerra last week.

As we showed our Coco-licious readers last week, Heidi Klum wore one of the runner-ups designs at the Black Swan premiere. What we didn't know is that it was made the day before!!!

Mondo was conveniently in El Lay last week when he got the call:

"As I was packing to come back to Denver my cell phone rang and a bright, cheery, 'Hello' greeted me, with a German accent. I wasn’t sure who it was, but the next thing I knew, the voice on the other end was asking me, 'Do you have my dress?'"

Right before leaving Mondo had a quick fitting with Heidi and jetted back to Denver to create her custom dress.

He adds:

"The next morning I came back to my studio and made the dress, shipped it overnight for early morning delivery. I knew she had received the dress, but was she going to wear it? I opened Facebook and there on my page were pictures of Heidi wearing the dress. I yelled, 'She wore it!' I slept very well last night."

What a crazy, but amazing story!

Congrats, Mondo! We hope to see more of your designs on the red carpet soon!

How nice of her to come out of hiding!

Winona Ryder made an obligatory appearance at the screening of her new flick Black Swan Thursday night and she even looked the part.

The 39 year old was dressed in an all black Andrew Gn Couture gown with tights and heels to match.

We love black as much as the next person, but we think Wino overdid it with the tights. It also looks like the dress is a bit snug on her.

Oh well, at least from the neck up she looked great!

Juliette Lewis continued her fashionable hot streak on Thursday night at the AFI Fest screening of Black Swan.

For the closing night, Juliette wore a gray tulle mini dress by Paule Ka with black Jimmy Choo heels.

The only problem we have is her hair. It looks like it's well overdue for a wash.
