Aimee Copeland Rocks Rehab!
Aimee Copeland is now at a rehab center while she recovers from an intense battle with flesh eating bacteria.
Apparently she's doing extremely well!
She must be excited about the new wing being built onto her home to accommodate all her needs… that, and she's just the toughest girl we've ever come across!
Even more exciting is that workers and partners are volunteering to construct the two-story 1,956-square-feet addition to Copeland's suburban Atlanta home at no charge to the family! The addition will include a new bedroom, a fitness room for rehab, a study area and an elevator to access the kitchen and other areas!
Here's what her dad said about her rehab progress:
"I sat with her today, watching her determined effort as she exerted herself through her exercise regimen. Her face was red and the vein in her neck was bulging as she pressed herself into her repetitions with serious determination. It's like she was training for the Olympics."
Aimee Copeland is a freakin' rockstar!
We hope the next step — fitting prosthetic limbs — goes well, and she's able to get back to life!
