Wow! We really have to commend her!

She gave this trip her all!

We reported yesterday that Cheryl Cole flew to Afghanistan yesterday, to not only film a special tribute to the members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force for the Pride of Britain Awards, but also to boost morale of the troops on the 10 year anniversary of UK operations in the war-torn country, and today, we've got some our first pictures of the British pop star - dressed in full army fatigue!

Ch-ch-check out some photos (above)!

Apparently, Chezza

Carson Daly Finds Air Force Singing Soldier Via Twitter! She's Coming To The Voice!

This is exactly the reason we love the internet sometimes!

We posted this video (above) of Angie Johnson, a member of a U.S. Air Forces Central Expeditionary Band called “Sidewinder,” currently stationed in the Middle East, belting out an UNBELIEVABLE cover of Adele's Rolling In The Deep, which apparently also caught the attention of Mr. Carson Daly!

Well, it seems he was so impressed that he was able to LOCATE and contact her via Twitter - and now, it looks as though gurlfriend may be getting the opportunity to show off her skillz on The Voice!

Air Force Sgt. Asks Eliza Dushku To A Red Sox Game!

It's a frenzy!!

Yup, this is totally becoming a trend!

The Marines aren't the only military guys and gals to ask out their favorite celebs. This time around it's Air Force Sgt. Felisberto and his target is none other than the lovely Eliza Dushku.

Currently serving in Kabul, Afghanistan, Felisberto is absolutely adorable when he asks Eliza to a Red Sox game. And since Eliza is proud to be from Beantown, we're sure she's going to say yes!

Of course, she does have a handsome boyfriend, but we're sure Rick Fox won't mind. This is for America, after all!

P.S. We're still waiting for our invite!!!

Obama Pays Tribute To Air Force Academy’s Football Team

President Barack Obama made a trip to the Air Force Academy to congratulate the football team for winning the Commander in Chief trophy, which they will be taking back to Colorado Springs for the first time in eight years.

The trophy is awarded to the winner of a series between the three branches of the military.

Obama said that the best part about winning… are the bragging rights over the Navy and Army teams.

Congrats, Air Force!

A Victory Against DADT, Judge Orders Air Force To Reinstate Nurse

This is two steps forward!

U.S. district judge Ronald B. Leighton ruled on Friday that former Air Force Reserve flight nurse, Margaret Witt, be reinstated to her job as soon as possible after being discharged under 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell.'

The judge had called Witt and "exemplary officer" and noted that "good flight nurses were hard to find."

After the ruling, Witt said in a statement:

"I'm thrilled about the decision today. appreciate the Court's belief in the professionalism of the military. Many people forget that the U.S. military is the most diverse workforce in the world — we are extremely versed in adaptation. Thousands of men and women who are gay and lesbian honorably serve this country in our military. Wounded personnel never asked me about my sexual orientation. They were just glad to see me. I can't wait to rejoin my unit."

In his decision, Judge Leighton wrote:

"The application of 'don't ask, don’t tell' to Major Margaret Witt does not significantly further the government’s interest in promoting military readiness, unit morale and cohesion. Her discharge from the Air Force Reserves violated her substantive due process rights under the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution."

This is a huge step in defeating DADT! We hope that many more will realize just how unconstitutional this law really is.
