Southwest Set To Air New Reality Show After Epic Publicity Fails

Filed under: TV NewsMedia MinuteGreen DayReality TV

Southwest has decided to allow cameras onto their planes following recent publicity flub-ups.

The airline has been caught on record doing very stupid regulating during their flights.

Some of the fails include kicking director Kevin Smith off for being overweight and kicking off Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong for sagging.

As reported earlier, L Word star Leisha Hailey was also kicked off for kissing her girlfriend, being told Southwest is a "family airling."

The new reality show will air on TLC and show planes from Baltimore and Denver.

The airline hopes the show will promote passenger and employee love towards Southwest.

But the damage has already been done.

Planes Are Going To Be Rad In 2050

Future Planes 2
Future Planes 1

The idea of air travel blows us away when we really start thinking about it — but how would you feel if, depending what you wanted, you could experience that awe or ignore it completely?

That's the choice that Airbus wants to give customers (among other, more specific choices), because some the design concepts are based on bird-bone efficiency and include transparent ceilings and walls!

But like we said, if the idea of that and heights kinda freaks you out, then no worries, because there are options for that. Here are a few options in general:

In the cabin concept, new personalised zones replace the traditional cabin classes.

The "vitalising zone" helps passengers relax, with vitamin and antioxidant-enriched air, mood lighting, aromatherapy and acupressure treatments.

In the "interactive zone" there are virtual pop-up projections taking passengers to whichever social scene they want to be in, from holographic gaming to virtual changing rooms for active shoppers.

The "smart tech zone" is tailored towards the more functional-orientated passenger with what Airbus describes as "a chameleon-style offering, to meet individual needs ranging from a simple to a complete luxury service, but all allowing you to continue life as if on the ground".

That vitalizing zone sound pret-ty good to us!

We think that the issue they'll run into here is that the zones could fill quickly, and what if you're someone who is just terrified of the idea of being able to see out of the ceilings and walls that high up, but it was the only option left for your travel time-frame?

Still, it sound really cool, and we hope they can work it all out somehow!

Would U fly in one of these??
