Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai went for a windswept look in Cannes on Friday.
Despite the ocean breeze, the former Miss World still looked beautiful in a Lanvin trench dress at the photo call for Heroine.
We can't wait to see more of Ash and her impeccable fashion sense during the film fest.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is bouncing back after her controversial Elle India cover by looking fierce on the front of Vogue India's February issue.
The 37 year old starts out her stunning cover shoot by striking a pose in a Roksanda Ilincic feather shoulder jacket.
The rest of her spread was shot on a yacht, where she changed into a red Jenny Packham gown, a black and gold split personality Cue by Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna dress, a sexy Atsu red coat, and a white long sleeve Valentino ruffle dress.
We love everything about Ash's shoot.
It's sexy with just a hint of edginess and it doesn't hurt that she's absolutely gorgeous.

Oh the dramz!
Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has been dumped as the face of L'Oreal India after 5 years of hawking their products.
And it sounds like she didn't even know!
Her rep told India Today:
"I don't know anything about it. We need to check out the details. Ash is busy with her upcoming performance at an awards function, so she can't speak on this issue right away."
Taking her place is the much younger Freida Pinto, who already made her debut in the beauty brand's Happy New Year commercial.

Elle India is off to a bad start in 2011.
Like Gabourey Sidibe, the mag is being accused of lightening January cover girl Aishwarya Rai's skin and she's furious!
A source close to the Bollywood actress told the Mumbai Mirror:
"Aishwarya's first reaction was disbelief. Not in this day and age when women are recognized for their merit, and not for the color of their skin. She is currently verifying this skin-whitening allegation. If there is any proof of this, she might even take action."
Good for her!
But for Elle's sake, we're really hoping they didn't do anything especially after all that September dramz.
