Well, this is ONE way to not only follow in Tom Hanks' footsteps…but ONE-UP him in the process!

The actor caused some slight controversy when he accidentally dropped the F bomb on Good Morning America while promoting Cloud Atlas earlier in the month, but that is NOTHING compared to Steven Tyler's behavior this morning on The Today Show!

The rocker appeared with his band, Aerosmith, to promote their new album Music From Another Dimension! and yet clearly had no idea which program he was actually on…as he announced the talk show's biggest competition in the ratings, GMA!

And before Al Roker could even finish reacting HIGHlariously during his weather update, Tyler once again made magic happen by screaming over him, "Thanks for coming out, you crazy f**ks!"

Over the summer, we told you how animal trainer Bill Berloni chose Sunny, a dog with 48 hours to live, to be Annie's best pal Sandy, in this fall's revival of Annie.

Now, The Today Show's Al Roker has gone behind the scenes to detail how Sunny got the job!

Al is probably a big dog kinda guy because he seems to find it funny he's now the owner of a tiny 10-week-old female pup named Pepper!

We guess even though even though the general public - and even some of his fellow staffers - aren't too happy with him, HE is STILL calling the shots around the set of The Today Show!

Even though the entire cast was invited to appear on Piers Morgan Tonight a week after their competition besting them in the ratings, Good Morning America, did so, it was apparently Matt Lauer who once again decided that NO ONE would be sitting down with the Brit on his CNN show…all because he didn't want to be asked about being behind the firing of Ann Curry!
