Greg Cook of East Limestone, Alabama lost his home in the recent tornado outbreak.

When the twister tore apart his home his dog, Coco was inside.

After sifting through the rubble and wreckage he found his beloved pooch inside, wet but otherwise completely unharmed.

He said:

"It was such a relief. I was happy to see him. I love my dog, he's my best friend and I was just so happy to see him."

The above picture was taken right after rescuers got him out.

So incredibly sweet. We love happy endings!

One more (possibly) awful sports scandal to add to the fire.

Michael Boley of the New York Giants is being investigated for allegedly abusing his 5-year-old son between May 30 and June 5.

No are no deets available as to exactly what kind of abuse Boley is being investigated for (physical, sexual, mental?), but the case has been handed over to an Alabama District Attorney's office.

And this week's hypocritical award goes to…

According to the New Zealand Herald, anti-gay Alabama politician Bill Johnson has been caught "donating sperm to lesbian couples in New Zealand" behind his wife's back. WTF!

We're hearing that he's been helping out with "earthquake recovery" in Christchurch, NZ…but really he's been spending his time "assisting" women in same-sex relationships who want to get married.

Anderson Cooper got to meet the miracle dog, Daniel, who was the Beagle who survived the gas chamber.

We previously mentioned the story of the dog who survived the gas chamber in Alabama and was put up for adoption in New Jersey.

He now has a loving family and they went on Anderson's show.

We haven't talked about this guy in a while and we wish we were bringing up his name with better news, but unfortunately we're not.

Season 2 American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and his wife are divorcing.

He filed the papers in Alabama this week and cited "irreconcilable differences."

Studdard married Surata Zuri McCants in 2008, but his rep told sources that they "have gone their separate ways.”

It sounds like it was for the best and with no kids, it shouldn't be too messy of a divorce.

Sorry to hear that things didn't work out, guys! We wish them both the best of luck as they move on with their lives.

Customers at a Birmingham, Alabama minimart are and seem to be quite satisfied!

A new kind of vending machine is dispensing new york strip steak, ribeye, sausage, beef sirloin, and pork tenderloins to customers at a cheaper price than the grocery store.

Since electronics and DVDs have leapt off of the shelves into vending machines, we guess raw meat was the next logical step.
