A Whole Lot More Of Alcide On This Weekend's True Blood!

Ugh! Thank god!

As much as we're loving this new season of True Blood, having to wait through three full episodes just to see that man without his shirt on is FAR too long, Alan Ball!

Check out a SLIGHTLY NSFW sneak peek of this Sunday's episode of the HBO series, which FINALLY features that delicious morsel of man, Joe Manganiello, as the werewolf Alcide, and stripping down to almost nothing to help his beloved Sookie Stackhouse find that forgetful Viking Vampire Eric (above)!

HOT DAMN! We have no idea why he makes her turn away! Or why his jeans couldn't fall a little further down before he transformed!

In fact, show it off! We're begging you!

LOLz! Well, there's always the possibility of next episode!

Charlaine Harris And Alan Ball Discuss MAJOR True Blood Spoiler

Did you see this week's True Blood?

Good, wasn't it?? Were you surprised with the ending??

In case you didn't see Sunday's episode, there was a pretty major DEATH at the end of the episode that had a lot of fans wondering, "Why?"

Well, creator Alan Ball and author of the books Charlaine Harris have some answers for you.

Eric, played by the amazing ASkars, was seen feeding off of Sookie's fairy godmother Claudine, which doesn't happen until much later in the books.

Ball says:

"After everything that was going on with the fairies in the first episode, I think we wanted to sort of put a pin in that, but obviously it’s not over. I felt it would have more impact if it was someone we knew as opposed to just a random fairy."

Thankfull, author Charlaine was cool with Alan's decision to kill her off.. She adds:

"If we did just do everything in the books, there would be no surprises. It’s not like we have a formula for what we’re going to keep from the books and what we’re going to change. If there’s a consensus that something makes sense, that’s usually the way we go. If he can be gracious to me, I can certainly be gracious enough to wait and see where he’s going."

As for the rest of this shocking season, Alan says:

"It gets ugly between the vampires and the witches. There’s more than one fight coming up. There’s also a very unexpected romantic attachment which you’ll start to see the beginnings of I believe in next week’s episode. We’re gonna find out a lot about Jesus’ magic that’s in his family. We’re gonna get to the bottom of what’s going on with Arlene’s baby."

Sooo excited! Just keep giving us Vampire Eric and we'll be satisfied!

So, Truebies! What did U think of this week's episode?

Filed under: TV NewsBusiness BlitzTrue Blood

true blood premiere almost sets record

Pret-ty impressive!

The True Blood season four premiere may not have set a new record for viewership…but it came VERY close!

The TB episode with the most viewers so far aired in season three and brought in 5.44 million. Sunday night's episode ALMOST beat it with 5.424 mil viewers!

We're just glad to see the show continuing to bring in the audiences! Hopefully these numbers will convince HBO and series creator Alan Ball to give us AT LEAST nine seasons!

Did U tune in for the season premiere of True Blood? Did U enjoy it?

Back To The Movies For Alan Ball!

This sounds right up his alley!

Alan Ball, the creator of True Blood and Six Feet Under, is set to direct and produce a new film for Paramount, based on an idea that he developed with writer Elan Mastai.

No news yet on the plot, but according to sources, it's a dark comedy with a twist!

Well, we certainly know that Ball is a genius at making really dark, effed up shit sickly funny, so we're very eager to see what his next cinematic venture will entail!

Alcide Reveals What To Expect In Season Four Of True Blood!

Although the third season finale of the smash series True Blood has yet to air, the unbelievably seksi Joe Manganiello - who plays the latest series regular, Alcide - is already spilling some mild spoilage on the upcoming season four!

According to him, witches will be invading Bon Temps!

He reveals:

"I mean, everybody knows that there are witches. There are witches around. And I just went to Salem last month in Massachusetts. I brought Alan back a bunch of witch paraphernalia. Apparently he has some spell books that he's been reading through, so it should be interesting."

Very curious!

There's no point in having any pre-conceived notions, though - the show tends to take something that we think we know, cover it in gore and expose its tittays, and then completely reinvent it!

We're psyched!
