The force of this father's love may awaken some feels in you!
Back in 2004 Albin Johnson, a longtime Star Wars fan, and his wife (above) took their daughter Katie to the doctors and found out she had an inoperable brain tumor.
After the diagnosis, Albin, the founder of the 501st Legion — who make Star Wars costumes from the films and visit hospitals and other charities — decided to create an R2 unit for his daughter to watch over her.
The father reached out to the R2 Builders Club to ask them to assemble the custom droid named R2-KT (above) to look like the iconic R2-D2 except painted pink — Katie's favorite color.
