Etta James Album Sales Skyrocket

Even though she has passed on, fans are honoring Etta James through this past week.

The music legend's album, The Best of Etta James - 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection, jumped from No. 162 to No. 46 on the Billboard 200.

With 8,000 units sold, that's a whopping 149% increase!

Her total album sales added up to 30,000 units, making a 378% jump. At Last was download 63,000 times.

She continues to stay strong on the Hot 100 as well. Her vocals are sampled on Flo Rida's Good Feeling (No. 3) and Avicii's Levels (No 68).

50 Vs Madonna Or 50 Vs Interscope?

50 Cent seems to have a beef with Interscope.

The rappers latest single, Girls GO Wild, was set to release on December 31st.

Interscope had released the news as well as the artwork for the single.

Now fellow Interscope artist Madonna is scheduled to release her Girls GONE Wild.

50 voiced his concern on Twitter, saying:

Billboard Charts Will No Longer Count Albums That Sell For Less Than $3.49

Guess we probably won't be seeing any more epic 99 cent sales any time soon…

Billboard has announced that beginning the week of Nov. 21, albums selling for less than $3.49 within the first four weeks of release will NOT count on charts.

Also, individual tracks that sell for less than $0.39 won't count on charts either!
