We can't believe it, but it's happening!
Paramount has hired Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka to write the screenplay for a movie adaptation of Baywatch!
HA. Seriously??
Apparently, the film will be taking an action/comedic approach to the source material, in the vein of the Charlie's Angels movies.
We hope those movies aren't too big a source of inspiration though, because they SUCKED!
Think about all of the washed-out former Baywatch has-beens that are going to be begging for cameos in this!!
And we're not even talking about the Hoff and Pamela!! You KNOW they're going to slither their way into this somehow!
We can't wait!!
