Meryl Streep Performed Carrie Fisher's Favorite Song At The Actress' Star-Studded Private Memorial

Carrie Fisher's loved ones delivered touching tributes at her private memorial.

On Thursday, A-listers, friends, and family visited the Star Wars alum's Beverly Hills home for an intimate gathering, to remember her life in the wake of her untimely passing.

The late legend died just one day before her mother Debbie Reynolds also passed, and the two are slated to be buried together on Friday.

A family friend told PEOPLE that Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd, wanted the memorial to feel like one of the parties the When Harry Met Sally alum used to throw, saying:

"Billie wanted the people her mother loved to gather in that living room one last time."

The insider explained that the Scream Queens alum delivered a eulogy in memory of her mother, adding that close friends Meryl Streep, Tracey Ullman, Bruce Wagner, Stephen Fry, and Gavin de Becker also said a few words:

"All the tributes circled back to Billie and how much Carrie loved her."

The confidante confessed that Meryl even performed Ms. Fisher's favorite song, Happy Days Are Here Again, describing:

Alex Trebek Honors Jeopardy Champion Who Died Of Cancer Before Her 6-Episode Winning Streak Aired — Watch!

This week, Jeopardy fans bid farewell to Cindy Stowell, the contestant suffering from terminal cancer who died one week before her episode aired.

Or should we say episodes? That's right, it turns out Stowell was a six-day champ!

After her six-game winning streak ended on Wednesday, host Alex Trebek paid tribute to the 41-year-old champion, saying:

"Appearing on the show was the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition for [Cindy.] What you did not know is that when we taped these programs with her a few weeks ago, she was suffering from Stage IV cancer and sadly, on Dec. 5, Cindy Stowell passed away. So from all of us here at Jeopardy!, our sincere condolences to her family and her friends."

That answer was clear on Wednesday's episode of the long running game show, when host Alex Trebek spit a few lines from Drake and Future's Jumpman!

The lyrical moment came when the 76-year-old read the "Musical Acts" for $400 clue to the three contestants, saying:

Of course, the answer is "Who is Drake" — but the real prize was hearing the popular lyric in Trebek's signature dry delivery:
