Lin-Manuel Miranda Is Bringing Hamilton To Your TV Screens To Teach You A Drunk History Lesson!

no title

Four pours and seven beers ago.

If you would have told us that a story about one of our Founding Fathers getting shot to death would translate into the most popular Broadway musical in ages… we never would have believed you.

But luckily, Lin-Manuel Miranda trusted his instincts and blessed us with Hamilton: An American Musical – and now he's about to do it all again for the small screen!

That's right — Comedy Central announced on Friday that Lin will be helming an upcoming episode of Drunk History this season… and while no one else has been cast just yet, it'd be a national tragedy for them to not use Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsbery, and Leslie Odom, Jr. to some extent!

Interestingly enough, DH's first-ever televised episode featured Michael Cera as Alexander Hamilton, Jake Johnson as Aaron Burr, and Ashley Johnson as Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, so Lin's going to have his work cut out for him in order to teach us something new.

Although… he's already won a Grammy, a Peabody, and 11 Tonys for his first retelling of the deadly duel — so if anyone's up for the challenge, it's him!

Will U be watching Lin-Manuel Miranda's Drunk History debut when Season Four premieres Tuesday, September 27 on Comedy Central??

A Woman Is Officially Going To Be On The New $10 Bill!

One giant step for man, one gigantic leap forward for womankind!

We've always found it a little strange that America is roughly evenly split between men and women, yet not a single female graces the country's currency.

Well, that's all about to change, because on Wednesday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that a woman will officially be the portrait on the $10 bill when the certificate changes in 2020.

That's still a whole President's term away, but still, progress is progress!

Jack and the rest of the department aren't sure which famous female will be featured on the money, but by using the hashtag #TheNew10 on social media, you can voice your opinion.

Interestingly enough, a woman actually has been featured on American currency before — Martha Washington on the $1 Silver Paper — but she was taken off way back in 1896…

Who do U wanna see replace Alexander Hamilton on the $10??

15 Year-Feud Comes To An End! But How Did Cameron Diaz & Sofia Coppola Manage To Kiss & Make Up?

Filed under: Celebrity FeudsCameron DiazAnna FarisGIFs

cameron diaz sofia coppola squash feud spike jones flirting lost in translation hooray

Until recently, Cameron Diaz & Sofia Coppola's relationship was about as amicable as Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr's — which is to say there was a seething hatred so potent that there may in fact have been a little literal frothing at the mouth.

Thankfully, time heals all wounds, except for herpes, and things between the two of them are much better now! Well, for Cameron and Sofia, we mean, at least. Hamilton and Burr are obviously never ever (like ever) getting back together.

The bad beef between two of Hollywood's loveliest ladies was originally served up when Cameron allegedly flirted with Sofia's Oscar-winning (now ex) hubby, Spike Jonze.

Sofia retaliated against the perceived slight by satirizing Cameron's persona with a character from Lost in Translation. In the award-winning flick, Anna Faris plays a ditzy blonde actress allegedly modeled after Miz Diaz.

That was way back in 1999, but Cameron & Sofia have apparently despised each other since!!

Or at least they did! Until now!
