Accidents happen, but this one could have been easily avoided!

Real Housewives Of The OC star Alexis Bellino is finally explaining how the eff her kids, both in a stroller, rolled into a swimming pool, and it's a pretty foolish mistake!

She explains:

"Our girls were in their stroller and I thought I had put the brake on, but apparently I didn't. Never take your eyes off the children for even a second when near water."

Yeah, good lesson! Easy for you to say after the fact!

But thank goodness everyone is safe, and hopefully this will teach her to never leave her kids unattended again!

WTF were they doing instead of watching their children?!

Real Housewives of Orange County's Alexis Bellino had a moment of sheer panic after she left her two children unattended at The Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach on July 4th.

Alexis and her hubby Jim were off "doing something" when the stroller carrying her two toddlers rolled into the pool. The lifeguard pulled the stroller out of the water which had one of the kids still in it, while Jim dove in to save the other.

Despite several security officers verifying the story, Jim claims, "There was no lifeguard needed or involved."

Both kiddies were fine and did not need any medical attention.
