Damn! We had wondered why we hadn't heard much about this project for a while!

Although Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity was originally set to premiere on November 21st of this year, the 3D sci-fi project starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney has been reportedly delayed by Warner Brothers until 2013!

No official word on why, but sources close to the production

Since Gary Ross has officially abandoned the sequel to The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Lionsgate is scrambling to find another director. So far the studio has a list of "seven or eight names" that they and author Suzanne Collins would be interested in working with.

Finally! It's been almost a year since we've heard anything about this movie!

Last October, we were excited to announced that a writer had been hired for an upcoming movie adaptation of The Twilight Zone (above), which is being developed by Warner Bros and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way.

Now, WB is finally moving forward with the project, and they've begun the search for a director!

Thus far, the top candidates include Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, and Michael Bay.

Wow! There's not too many people who can replace Robert Downey, Jr. - but if anyone can do it, it's certainly him!

George Clooney has reportedly signed on to Alfonso Cuaron's science fiction drama, Gravity, alongside Sandra Bullock!

The actor has alleged replaced Downey as the leader of a space station that gets destroyed by asteroid debris, and along with the help of Sandra, who is the only other survivor, must find a way to successfully return to Earth!

Production begins in April or May of 2011.

This actually sounds pretty awesome! We're looking forward to hearing more about this one!

We really thought Natalie Portman was going to sign on for this role. Now we don't know WHAT to think!

Sandra Bullock is currently in negotiations for the lead role in Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity, which was previously offered to Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman and everybody in the universe!

MAYBE Sandra will sign on to the project, but we've been burnt so many times, it's too painful to put ourselves out there and even try to guess. Who knows who they'll be "in negotiations" with next week!

As a reminder, the the story is about a woman who's the sole survivor of a space station crash, and wants to return home to her daughter.

Come on, Sandra! Take on this project, so we can finally have some closure.

Just confirm this deal already! Everything about this movie screams AMAZING!

Earlier this month, Angelina Jolie pulled out of Alfonso and Jonas Cuaron's sci-fi epic Gravity, and the filmmakers approached Natalie Portman about taking over the role.

Now, Portman is in active negotiations to secure the lead role, and it looks like it's nearly a done deal.

After Jolie's exit from the project, many actresses were rumored to be up for the role, including Rachel Weisz, Blake Lively, and most recently Sandra Bullock. We're thinking they're making the right move with Natalie.

The script was written by Alfonso and his son Jonas Cuaron, which we think is pretty cool. How often have we seen father/son writing teams? We can't think of all that many.

The story is about a woman who's the sole survivor of a space station crash, and wants to return home to her daughter. Sounds very reminiscent of other intense, isolation-themed movies such as Moon and Cast Away. We are totally on board!

Word going around is that Robert Downey Jr. will appear in the film as well. No details yet as far as the capacity of the role is concerned, but his involvement is generally a good thing.

We're pumped to hear more as the details arise!
