Finally, we're getting a better sense of what is actually going to transpire in Prometheus, the upcoming sort-of prequel to Alien from Ridley Scott!

And believe us when we say, it's all the more terrifying than what we could have anticipated!

Ch-ch-check out the just-released, nearly-three minute international theatrical trailer for the upcoming sci-fi horror film, which stars Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, and Michael Fassbender (above), and fills in a lot of the plot gaps previously unrevealed in other promotional material!

As in, what exactly is attempting to eat them up there!

The answer may be a bit of a familiar surprise!

Oh man, though! Does it look terrifying or WHAT?!

And you know that just enough is being kept under wraps so that when it finally is released, this movie is going to be a kick in the teeth!

Ridley Scott's highly anticipated prequel of sorts to Alien is hitting theaters on June 8th, but Prometheus still doesn't have a rating yet.

It's currently being decided on by the ratings board, but Fox studio chief Tom Rothman revealed at CinemaCon this week that regardless of what rating the film gets, they ARE NOT cutting a single frame.

It sounds like there is a good chance it will be rated R, but he's not worried about losing out on box office dollars and told the press:

If you were alive/coherent at the end of the second millenium, then you probably remember that little fuzzy, gremlin-looking toy they called a Furby.

Well, Hasbro has decided to bring these alien creatures back from the toy-beyond to creep out a whole NEW generation of children!!

Yes, they were cute, but not very cuddly (their inner robotics were pointy and painful!) and you couldn’t really turn them off…

We totally caught them watching us in the nighttime!

We won't know what new powers these Furbies hold until their release in the fall…right around the same time the Mayans predicted the end of the world, RIGHT???

Although Ridley Scott still isn't sure which rating Prometheus will get, we're sure that these just released pics are freakin' terrible sweet!!!

We have no idea what the hell to expect from Prometheus other than A) we will love it and B) we will love it.

Yesterday, we showed you a one minute teaser clip of Ridley Scott's Prometheus, but today, we have the FULL-LENGTH trailer in all its sci-fi glory.

After debuting the preview at WonderCon this weekend, we find out that the movie follows the Prometheus spaceship crew in the year 2085. They eventually "discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."

WHAAA!!! Holy shiz.

So, even though the movie was originally conceived as a prequel to Alien, it eventually developed into a whole separate story on its own.

And good news! Scott already mentioned that a sequel is on the horizon at yesterday's panel.
