Alison Sweeney Hosts Prevention Magazine's 'On The Run' Event

Alison Sweeney Prevention Race

This gurl doesn't mess around when it comes to fitness!

Alison Sweeney, the host of Biggest Loser, hosted Prevention Magazine's "On The Run" event in San Diego on Saturday, which she also participated in to prepare for the upcoming L.A. Marathon.

Runners had the opportunity to race FOR FREE in the third annual event's 5K, 10K or half-marathon length course, while kids could take on the 1.5 mile "Mini Mermaid Run".

Alison completed the 10K race through the SoCal city's Mission Bay area with a personal best time, so we have no doubt she is going to kick butt in El Lay this March when she runs a full marathon!

The Biggest Loser's Alison Sweeney Gives Tips To Stay Fit This Holiday

Alison Sweeney, a longtime soap opera veteran on Days of Our Lives and host of The Biggest Loser, may be a Hollywood star, but she's also a married mom trying to stay fit this holiday season just like you!

Her key to staying slim, she explains in December's issue of Fitness, is managing her nutrition on top of completing at-home workout routines, sharing:

"It’s really important to find a workout that you can do with no excuses. And I keep track of my nutrition. With so many treats around, it’s really easy to just pop brownies without thinking about it! You may not even be hungry. I also eat before going to parties so I’m less tempted when I get there and am satisfied with a smaller amount of the treats."

Luckily, she's got plenty of inspiration to encourage her to continue working toward her fitness goals in the form of Biggest Loser contestants and tough trainers.
