A family recently lost their father when he was skiing and a huge avalanche struck in Montana.

The mother was there as well but she survived.

The family dog was caught in the same avalanche and presumed dead…

Until he showed up alive four days later to shine a single ray of happiness in what we're sure is the darkest time in this poor family's life.

Oh, thank goodness.

Baseball player Wilson Ramos, who plays for the Washington Nationals, was found and rescued in Venezuela Friday after experiencing what sources say was "heavy gunfire."

Ramos was abducted by armed men in his home country on Wednesday. When talking about the harrowing ordeal, he knew he wasn't completely safe:

"The truth is, at the moment they came to get me I was very nervous. There were many gunshots. … Thanks to God, those guys did a tremendous job. I'm super grateful to them."

Kidnappers have been known to target wealthy athletes in Venezuela to get a hefty ransom in return.

We are just so thankful that he has been found and is alive and well. What a scary ordeal. We all are so relieved.

It's probably about time.

KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are collaborating on a memoir that will detail the band's early years, between 1973-1975.

The memoir Nothin' To Lose will also be written along with rock journalist Ken Sharp and will go through the band's experience through the release of their breakout album Alive! that included their hit Rock and Roll All Night.

The book will also feature interviews with bandmates Peter Criss and Ace Frehl as well as other rockers from the '70s era.

We think she's right! These two definitely would have had quite a bit to talk about!

Yoko Ono recently opened up about performing with Lady GaGa, and revealed that she thinks that if her husband, John Lennon, were still alive, he would have been fascinated with the pop star!

She explains:

She performed with me on stage wearing a see-through lace catsuit and people thought it was an insult because you could see her bottom. I’m the lady who did an exhibition of bottoms. How could hers offend me? She has a very lovely bottom. I think she’s wonderful. John would have loved her, because she’s an artist, she’s fearless and she pushes every limit, which we both always adored. She has played on John’s white piano and I think that’s wonderful. Life moves on and you embrace it.
