When Steve Gustafson heard his West Highland Terrier named Bounce cry out while they were both in the backyard of Gustafson's home in Orlando - he saw something straight terrifying.

A seven foot alligator had taken hold of his 13 pound best friend and was pulling him into the pond.

Without thinking, Gustafson leapt into the water and wrestled the alligator away from his pooch - the man also managed to escape but not without getting bit on his right hand and right leg.

In his own words, Gustafson said "What else could I do? That's my best friend."

That's mainly because if an albino gator is born in the wild, it has no natural camouflage.

So it's basically snatched up by predators almost immediately.
