al franken apologizes again twitter reacts

Now this is a significantly better apology.

As we previously reported, Senator Al Franken apologized to TV host Leeann Tweeden after she accused him of groping and kissing her without consent during a '06 USO Tour of the Middle East. Initially, the comedian turned politician attempted to downplay the scandal by noting that he didn't "remember the rehearsal for the skit in the same way," but offered up his "sincerest apologies" regardless.

The Saturday Night Live alum also apologized for the photo where he appeared to be groping Tweeden as she slept. We're talking about someone who has been accused by a woman of molesting her when she was just 14 years old, but some seem to think that's no big deal.

Men may've actually learned something from the Me Too campaign.

As you've likely seen, thousands of women (and countless men too) have shared their personal experiences with sexual harassment and assault. This Twitter movement came to fruition thanks to a conversation between Alyssa Milano and a pal about Harvey Weinstein's misconduct.
