Our prayers were answered!
Sarah Jessica Parker is heading back to Broadway!!
Yep, Carrie Bradshaw will be hitting the stage once again alongside Gwyneth Paltrow’s mama, Blythe Danner, to star in fellow actress Amanda Peet’s first play — The Commons of Pensacola.
The play, taking up residence at the Manhattan Theatre Club, is a dramedy revolving around

Well, off-Broadway, but still!
Before Sarah Jessica Parker stole our hearts as lovably candid sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, she was heavily involved in NYC's theater scene…
A scene she may revisit come Fall!
SJP and Blythe Danner are currently in negotiations to star in Amanda Peet's new play, The Commons of Pensacola, which will be put on at Lynne Meadow’s Manhattan Theater Club later on this year.
We are SO excited to hear that Matthew Broderick's wife is looking to join her hubby on The Great White Way (well close to it)!
AND we are very intrigued as to what actress Amanda Peet has in terms of play-writing skillz…
Who knew!

Amanda Peet is one cold-hearted mom! But when it comes to ice cream, that's a good thing!
The Whole Nine Yards star was spotted at the world-famous Grove doing a little Christmas shopping, and afterwards she bought her daughter Molly an ice cream cone!

This may have been a major blow to Michael Sheen's ego!
And probably Rachel Weisz, Barry Pepper, and Amanda Peet's too!
All four actors were cut from Terrence Malick's latest movie, To The Wonder, which is premiering at the the Venice Film Festival this Sunday.
However, Sheen's gorgeous girlfriend, Rachel McAdams, made the

Yay!!!
We missed Amanda Peet's presence on the screen and she'll finally be back during season four of The Good Wife.
She'll be appearing on the CBS drama in a multi-episode arc as a military lawyer who hires Alicia to help her sue a contract worker for attempted sexual assault.
It's a nice little comeback for the actress following the quick cancellation of NBC's Bent, which was the first project she worked on since giving birth in 2010.
She's just getting warmed up too. She has a role in Terrence Malick's To The Wonder, the Steve Carell comedy The Way, Way Back and the Jason Bateman comedy Identity Thief.
Welcome back into our lives, pretty lady!

Oh Amanda Peet what were you thinking?
The 40 year old actress looked like a fancy napkin in her Marc Jacobs tiered dress at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
Sorry Amanda, but this dress belongs on someone at least 15-20 years younger than you.
Do U agree???

Congrats are in order for Amanda Peet.
The hottie had to cancel her David Letterman appearance on Tuesday at the last minute because she was going into labor!
She was scheduled to promote her upcoming film, Please Give, but her baby girl decided to come early. Her reps say that "Mother and daughter are doing great."
Amanda also has a 3-year-old daughter, Frances, who they call "Frankie", with her screenwriter husband, David Benioff
She recently told sources that they're really excited to meet the family's newest addition, "But there's been a lot of fighting going on in my household over names. Frankie is very excited. She just wants to call the baby, Turtle."
So adorbz!!
The new baby girl was named Molly June Benioff. Though Turtle would have been interesting…
