Poor Dr. Angelica Zen!

The UCLA physician was just trying to enjoy the last few hours of her honeymoon before retuning to reality last week when the plane she was on had a bit of an issue!

Let's call it a labor violation! LOLz!

Dr. Zen was notified by flight attendants that a woman on board had just gone into labor weeks ahead of her due date, and — since the plane at that point was still over the open ocean — that baby was going to be born at 30,000 feet!

Zen sprung into action on the China Air flight, which would end up diverting from its Los Angeles destination to Alaska, and helped deliver a safe and healthy child!

World, meet Jeff Rubin.

Mr. Rubin found himself passed-out drunk on a red-eye flight from Anchorage, Alaska to Portland, Oregon, when nature called.

And when nature calls… nature often can't be bothered with civilized, elitist things like, ya know, getting up and walking to the tiny airplane bathroom to take care of business.

So Jeff Rubin did what any self-respecting insanely drunk person would do:

The famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is set to begin this Saturday, but the race has had to maneuver through a series of changes this year because of the lack of snow on the ground along their usual route.

The race was moved from Willow, Alaska to a different starting point in Fairbanks which is about 225 miles north of their original spot!

Maybe they could just ask Boston for some of their snow…

And even now organizers are racing to add

deadliest catch crewmember collapses

Might be time for Discovery to retire this show. So many awful things have happened with the cast/crew!

After drama with this show had subsided for nearly nine months, we were thinking maybe we wouldn't hear more terrible stories from the Deadliest Catch team. We were wrong.

We're sad to report that

Journalist Handcuffed And Detained By Alaskan Senate Candidate's Private Security!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooPolitikSarah Palin

Oh shiz! Alaskan drama that DOESN'T involve Sarah Palin!

Check out (above) this footage of Tony Hopfinger, an editor for the on-line magazine Alaska Dispatch, being handcuffed and detained by private security after he attempted to interview Republican senate candidate Joe Miller at an Anchorage town hall event!

Miller, who now refuses to answer questions about his personal life after it was revealed that he was nearly fired from his attorney job in 2008 for a serious ethics breach, was reportedly being hounded by Hopfinger, and had his private security detail intervene. Hopfinger claims that the incident started when the aforementioned guards starting harassing him.

William Fulton, one of the guards, issued the following statement regarding the incident:

"The Dispatch reporter repeatedly pushed a camera into the face of Mr. Miller. He continued to aggressively pursue him. I told the reporter several times that he needed to stop and that he was trespassing, he ignored me. He then proceeded to stalk Mr. Miller and even shoved an individual into a locker. Based upon this trespass and his assault, we detained him and escorted him from the premises."

So bizarre!

Why does a CANDIDATE for the Alaskan senate even need security detail?

This guy seems pretty shady to us!
