Usain Bolt Smiled & Wagged A Finger At Andre De Grasse After Their 200-Meter Semifinal Photo Finish — But Is The Sprinter Actually PISSED?!
On Wednesday night, Usain Bolt, who owns the world record in the 200 meter, looked to win his semifinal heat for the event and automatically qualify for the finals.
But he ran into a snag when Canada's Andre De Grasse decided to turn up the heat at the end!
As Andre crept up on the legendary Olympian, Usain used everything he had left to stay ahead of the 21-year-old and win with a time of 19.78 — just TWO HUNDREDTHS of a second ahead of De Grasse.
Not only was the finish EPIC, but the Jamaican gave the world a HIGHlarious moment when he turned to the second place runner and gave him a smile and finger wag immediately after crossing the finish — even though both men qualified for the final!
Viewers loved the idea of the seemingly budding bromance, and Bolt even jokingly told NBC and BBC that "De Grasse was supposed to slow down at the end", it seems that's not how he REALLY felt!
Despite the smile on Bolt's face, he apparently wasn't very happy about the last minute kick FOR REAL.
