Pup-Pourri's Briana (great name) was a champion show dog, used to long grooming sessions, cheering crowds and lots of praise from everyone around her.
But just seven years later she was found living in the streets of Oakland, tangled in chicken wire, her fur covered in dirt.

We have no idea why but every once in a while, a deer will come crashing through a storefront window.
Maybe they see a reflection or they think it's water or something totally different.
All we know is it must be terrifying for both the deer and the people inside.
Usually animal control comes and removes the deer back to the wild but this time the deer was freaking out.
So they had to sedate than euthanize it.
So sad, poor deer.

Police in rural Indiana rescued 82 dogs from a woman's home.
She may now be facing animal cruelty charges.
Animal control officers and several deputies used four trucks to take 55 of the 82 dogs to a shelter to be evaluated by vets.
Then the next day they came back for the remaining 27 dogs.
Neighbors had originally alerted authorities because with all the dogs, and all the doggy doo doo, they feared the waste might seep into their water supply.
The woman said she takes care of her dogs and feeds them daily.
Sounds like a hoarder to us.
We'll just have to wait until the police report comes out to find out if any charges are being filed.

It's getting colder and colder out as winter approaches.
So one of the last animals you'd think of during the colder months would probably be an alligator.
And the last place you'd expect to see an alligator is probably in Michigan.
But that's exactly where a loose gator was spotted, just roaming around the grass outside of a church in Michigan.
Check out the above video to see the Michigan gator.

It took nine men, pulling on two ropes to get just one moose out of a backyard swimming pool.
The moose weighed an estimated 1,800 pounds and when they pulled on the ropes around his antlers, he just pulled back.
Check out the above video of a heroic moose rescue.

EL LAY County just passed a new ordinance that allows animal control officers to decided weather or not a dog is to vicious to live!!
Before this ordnance Superior Court's were the only ones with the power to determine the vicious state of a dog.
The now ordinance will ALSO expand the definition of “vicious” to include a “serious illness or injury” to a human. WTF??
To us this just means there are going to be A LOT more dogs euthanized by the LA government in years to come. The officers should at least need approval before putting a dog down!
According to cesarsway.com officials said the changes in this ordinance were needed to prevent owners of dangerous dogs from moving across county lines.

Is this the Coronel Sander's secret recipe?
Police in Kentucky say 12 chickens were left in a hot car while their owners went shopping at Walmart.
One of the chickens died and the others were taken to a shelter after someone reported they'd been left in the car for about 30 minutes.
Officers in Georgetown, where it happened, say the windows were left open just a crack.
The National Weather Service says the high temperature Wednesday in nearby Lexington was 94 degrees.
Police say any charges against the owners will be up to Animal Control.
