It took nine men, pulling on two ropes to get just one moose out of a backyard swimming pool.
The moose weighed an estimated 1,800 pounds and when they pulled on the ropes around his antlers, he just pulled back.
Check out the above video of a heroic moose rescue.

This sucks.
EL LAY County just passed a new ordinance that allows animal control officers to decided weather or not a dog is to vicious to live!!
Before this ordnance Superior Court's were the only ones with the power to determine the vicious state of a dog.
The now ordinance will ALSO expand the definition of “vicious” to include a “serious illness or injury” to a human. WTF??
To us this just means there are going to be A LOT more dogs euthanized by the LA government in years to come. The officers should at least need approval before putting a dog down!
According to cesarsway.com officials said the changes in this ordinance were needed to prevent owners of dangerous dogs from moving across county lines.

Is this the Coronel Sander's secret recipe?
Police in Kentucky say 12 chickens were left in a hot car while their owners went shopping at Walmart.
One of the chickens died and the others were taken to a shelter after someone reported they'd been left in the car for about 30 minutes.
Officers in Georgetown, where it happened, say the windows were left open just a crack.
The National Weather Service says the high temperature Wednesday in nearby Lexington was 94 degrees.
Police say any charges against the owners will be up to Animal Control.

This is sad! Why can't celebs keep their dogs in line???
Four dogs reportedly belonging to NFL star Joey Porter attacked and killed a neighbor's dog on July 2, leading to a citation for Porter.
An animal control spokeswoman said the Arizona Cardinals player was obviously upset about the attack and apologized to his neighbor.
The citation for failing to have the dog on a leash will likely result in a fine for Porter.
It wasn't clear how Porter's dogs got out of their kennel. A spokeswoman said Porter's dogs are large and appear to be half mastiff and half pit bull.

JUST AWFUL!
Colorado cops busted this junkie after her boyfriend said she killed a cat by blowing heroin smoke in its face.
Danielle Blankenship, 21, was arrested Tuesday after cops arrived at her home on a domestic dispute call and found the cat, Muffin, passed out cold at the bottom of the stairs.
After failing to wake the cat, cops called animal control, and the sick kitty was taken to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, where she was treated for poisoning, but sadly passed.
Blankenship's bf told police that the woman had been smoking heroin and blowing it in the poor tabby's face.
The woman denied using the drug. Ha.
RIP Muffin!

Fresh off an unsuccessful attempt to make circumcision illegal, San Francisco has turned elsewhere for its next attempted ban: Goldfish.
The Animal Control and Welfare Commission would like to ban the sale of pets in the city, even goldfish.
The proposed ban seems destined to fail a vote of the Board of Supervisors (just like the ACWC's recommendation to mix birth control with birdseed to reduce the pigeon population).
We'd love to see an end to puppy mills, but is this the answer?

Adorbulous!
Over the weekend Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted taking her doggy for a walk in Beverly Hills… except she's the only one walking.
We bet the supermodel knows a thing or two (or a thousand) about the importance of exercise, she should know it's important to let her dog stretch it's legs. (Even if they're short, hairy, and will never be bare on the cover of a magazine).
Before you call Animal Control on Alessandra, we'll have you know the model was seen the beach with her daughter and her doggie.
And yes — Alessandra looked incredible!
