We previously mentioned that Bob Barker was trying to get the University of Washington to stop using live cats as part of their pediatric training program.

Instead of using live babies, obvi, the university needed a stand-in… so they went with live cats!!

Most schools use mannequins for training, instead of poor, sedated kitties, so Bob tried to get them to switch.

He offered the school $75,000 to change to state-of-the-art simulators, if they'd stop using cats…

We previously mentioned that a man in Ohio had a 7-foot alligator removed from his basement.

A video of the owner and others taunting the gator appeared on Facebook and led authorities to seize the animal.

The man hasn't been hit with any charges just yet, but things would go differently if Kristen Bell were in charge.

Authorities are considering hitting an Ohio man with animal cruelty charges for keeping a 7-foot alligator in his basement!!

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton took the big ol' gator from the man's Huber Heights home on Sunday after being tipped off to possible mistreatment of the animal.

In Crawfordville, Florida, Animal Control officers were called to the side of a highway to check on a bloody dog, who was lying on the side of the roadway.

When they got there, they found a five-month-old German Shepherd puppy with gunshot wounds to his hind legs.

There's a battle going on in the U.S. right now.

We don't mean between the Republicans and Democrats, but rather between animal activists and Big Agriculture.

After undercover films captured all of the nasty animal cruelty going on in so many farms - Big Agriculture has fought back by introducing Ag Gag bills that would criminalize undercover videos whose sole purpose is to bring awareness to all types of animal cruelty.
